I love Christmas, but I would much rather just do tuff throughout the year as gifts, instead of focus on one mandatory gift giving day. It feels like it would have more of an impact to say. "Hey, I thought of you so I got you something"

Instead of.

"It's December, so here's your mandated gift worth X amount of currency."

Plus I like tinsel. It gets everywhere!
